A Compelling Community
The beauty of Christ's love overflows through our ordinary lives— day by day.
“And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts…And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved” (Acts 2:46a-47).
What made the early church compelling wasn’t slick marketing or polished speeches—it was the grace of God in Christ. Tangible, visible grace. It was Spirit-filled joy. It was love that defied worldly categories. It was the aroma of Christ, alive and active among His people.
Their lives bore witness to the goodness of God because the risen Jesus was real to them—and His presence overflowed into every corner of their daily lives. And the same is true today. As the gospel goes out, our everyday moments become little outposts of grace—through shared meals, quiet kindness, late-night prayers, and selfless acts of service. Grace has a beauty the world can’t ignore.
The good news? We don’t have to be impressive. We don’t even have to be eloquent. We only need to be alive to the love of Christ that first found us—and open to the Spirit who delights to share that love through us.
GOOD NEWS!!
