Honoring Tim Keller (1950-2023)
Good morning Immanuel. The absence of Tim’s magnificent gospel ministry is a profound loss for Christians everywhere.
Dear Immanuel,
“Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep” (Romans 12:15).
Yesterday, our friend Tim Keller went to be with Jesus. The absence of Tim’s magnificent gospel ministry is a profound loss for Christians everywhere. Many of us can tell stories of having been helped by Tim’s preaching and writing at key moments in our lives. The sermon recording below was one of those moments for me. We at Immanuel owe Tim a great debt of love for the many ways his ministry has strengthened us through the years. We will miss Tim dearly, even as we rejoice in his life well lived and his safe deliverance to glory.
Please join me in praying for the Redeemer Churches of NYC and the Keller family, and especially for Tim’s dear wife Kathy, whom we love and admire.
Yours in the comfort of Christ,
Pastor T.J.
