Giving Thanks

Good morning, Immanuel. May the peace of Christ cheer your hearts this morning.

“I thank my God in all my remembrance of you” (Philippians 1:3).

Dear Immanuel Family,

There’s so much to be thankful for in my remembrance of you. But one thing
stands out above the rest. The crazier this world gets, the more grateful I am
for our gathered worship of God. Worshipping the Lord with you on Sundays,
is one of the most joyful and stabilizing rhythms in my life. I know that I
speak on behalf of all the pastors and elders when I say, thank you for the
regular encouragement of your faithful presence, for your sincere love for
Jesus, and for bearing with us and one another. The peace of Christ we keep
together is sacred, beautiful, and filled with glory. Let’s stay there always.
